The Dog Photographer of the Year Has Been Crowned The Kennel Club has chosen its photographer of the year, but the runners up are something to bark at too.

The internet can be a tricky place. With a constant flow of news updates flying at us, sometimes it can be hard to find those positive and uplifting stories amidst all the sad and unfortunate events that tend to grab headlines.

Well, thanks to the American Kennel Club and some seriously skilled photographers, the internet was treated to an array of candid dog pictures that are sure to put a smile on your face.

 

The 2017 “Dog Photographer of the Year” contest brought out some of the funniest and special moments between pets and their owners.  Now in its 12th year, the contest received entries from 74 countries, with the overall winner residing in Portugal.  The collection of pictures showcases the four legged models in bunch of different backdrops and candid scenarios.

Complete with a variety of categories, the contest gives photogs the chance to curate their images into a specific category prior to being voted on.  Make sure you take a look through all the images, as they are sure to make your day a little better.
