Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ve probably heard the name Lonzo Ball – as well as Lavar – plenty of times within the last few months.
The point guard from UCLA has entered the NBA draft and made headlines – mainly thanks to his dad – for both his skills and desire to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. Experts have gone back and forth on his skill set and whether or not he will live up to the hype that his father has ultimately built up to greater heights. With the Lakers having the second overall pick in the draft, all eyes are on the purple and gold to see what moves they make.
From NBA GMs to Hall of Famers, everyone has both praise and skepticism for the young baller. One current player for the Los Angeles Lakers, D’Angelo Russell, might’ve just revealed his feelings on Lonzo Ball via Twitter after one keen eye took a glance at Russell’s twitter account.
A Twitter user’s latest tweet states that there’s no way the Lakers should take Lonzo after watching D’Angelo Russell highlights, both of which play the point guard position.
You can’t expect Russell to be cool with the fact that Lonzo might be his ticket out of La La Land, so we can’t be mad at the fact that he liked the tweet, right?
Make of this what you will, but one thing’s for sure: Twitter is still undefeated.
