2. Word-Building Exercises
This technique is used in education and helps students with building on words and phrases. If you have word magnets on your fridge, or see words around your area, start off with one, and let your imagination run wild. One word leads to another, which leads to phrases, and then sentences. Another way to use this exercise is to take a certain amount of words and use those to start a story, even if it sounds silly. If this has been proven to help students with their writing, it will definitely help yours.
