A new tripod has surfaced recently, and it’s looking to replace all other portable tripods, including the popular JOBY Gorilla pod. Dubbed “Tenikle” this portable, flexible camera stand is made to resemble that of an octopus and works just like it as well. Sporting three-legged tentacles that act as stands with three suction cups on each one. What’s unique about this device is that the legs have limitless flexibility, allowing the tripod to convert and wrap around other objects.

Using the lightweight and compact Tenikle means that photographers and videographers no longer have to carry around bulky equipment to capture footage or photos. It is also compatible with GoPro cameras for all those adventure junkies, but it doesn’t just stop there. Check out some of its features below:
In further detail, each Tenikle leg can hold up to eight pounds, and the suction durability ranges at two weeks when dry and four weeks when wet, so give it a good lick.
The portable device launches soon as it’s currently on Kickstarter, but the campaign has already surpassed its initial goal of $15,000 at over $100,000. As part of the crowdfunding campaign, supporters can grab one for $25. Once it hits retail, the price jumps to $30, so go out and purchase one quickly for limitless possibilities to mount your tech.
