Facebook to Personalize Your News Gathering Experience 'Explore feed' coming to Facebook

Facebook to Help You Find WiFi Wherever You Go

We all know how crowded Facebook timelines can get these days. Between friends posting irrelevant content, or brands and organizations sharing news about subjects you may not care about, it can be hard to get the information you want on Facebook.

To combat that cluttered content, the social media empire is launching a personalized news feed for all users called ‘Explore’, which will deliver the best content relating to your preferences.

A Facebook spokesperson stated, “We are testing a complementary feed of popular articles, videos, and photos, customized for each person based on content that might be interesting to them. We’ve heard from people that they want an easy way to explore new content they haven’t connected with yet.”

“Explore” can currently be located under the “more” option in the application. This feed will display content based on your “likes” on Facebook, as well as the interests of your social graph.

How do you feel about the new “Explore” feature? Are you happy to finally have a more personalized experience? Let us know what you think of the new content in the comments below!
