The return of Amazon’s annual Digital Day was announced on Monday, marking the second time that the one-day only shopping event hits the internet. Thousands of items, including content creation tools and devices will be available with reduced pricing of up to 80% during the sale on December 29th. According to Amazon, eight categories including apps, mobile games, TV shows, ebooks and more will be included in the sale.
Following the announcement of the sale, Amazon released teaser deals including 33% off of select games like Civilization VI and NBA 2k18, 75% on Kindle best selling books like Modern Romance and The Silent Corner, 60% of Wonder Woman on Amazon Video, three free audiobooks for signing up for a trial version of Audible and 25% off of software like Rosetta Stone and Adobe Creative Cloud Photography.
Select deals are rumored to start December 26th leading up to the largest savings on Digital Day which will offer 40% more deals than last year.
Amazon’s Digital Day brought record breaking sales in 2016 when customers ordered hundreds of thousands of items across digital apps, games, and comics.
“Amazon Digital Day is an amazing time to shop for deals on digital content,” said Aaron Rubenson, VP of Amazon Appstore.”We’re excited to help customers find great discounts again this year.”
The sale occurring after the holiday season means that customers who recently got products can have access to digital content at a great price.
The sale for 2017 brings many more deals to customers than its predecessor, leaving us questioning what 2018’s Digital Day savings will look like.
