10. Practice Makes Perfect
The art of writing doesn’t happen overnight. Writing takes time, and like any other skill, requires hours of practice and dedication and help from those who can provide it. Just like the writing process, writers do not have to follow an exact order. Instead, they can go back to revising several times before finally publishing, or even scrap all their ideas and return back to the brainstorming process. Use this list of tips, for example, whenever you feel you’ve hit a snag in your writing because you won’t get it right the first time. And that’s okay. Repeating these steps several times is crucial to moving your writing from good to great.
